Best job in the world?
Best job in the World? It’s true, this is most definately one of the best jobs in the world, the other would be getting paid to travel the world. Almost £70k for 6 months work, free apartment with no bills to pay, and you only have to work 12 hours a wekk!
I had seriously considered applying for it, and a friend of mine who works for a TV production company offered to help. But have decided today that I am not going to. I am sure there are going to be another 10,000 people out there who have a considerable amount of time available to invest into their application which I just don’t have.
Anyway I’ve already been to the Whitsunday Islands and thinking about it, I would probably get a little bored after 6 months.

It would be nice to work like this … I can’t dive though, but for such a job, I would learn.. lol
I heard about the same type of job in Jeju island (South Korea). It is nececssary to look after national park and to be able to socialize with people.
I tried to get gravatar, but something went wrong I guess… :((

This sounds like an incredible job!
But as you say – I don’t know if I could stay in the same place for 6 months! I’m also not sure if I would like to see my face on TV – I’d be too self-conscious!

There was an hour long special on this job offer last night on BBC1.
By the looks of it it was quite a competition.. Still the prize was worth having.

There was an hour long special on BBC1 about this last night which demonstrated the competition for the job was staggering.
Anyway it looked like a lot of laughs were had during the contest. That said Ben Southall had made a glaring error on his second day and called one of the islands he is looking after by an incorrect name.
